What does high latitude mean? |
A higher degree away from the Equator. Further away |

How are longitude lines different than latitude lines? |
Longitude lines begin at the NPole and end at the SPole. Longitude lines run north to south. Longitude lines do NOT go all the way around the earth. Latitude lines run all the way around the earth running east to west. Latitude lines are longest at the Equator and shortest near the poles. |

This degree is known as the Prime Meridian |

This degree can also be called the International Date Line, although this line zigzags around the countries and doesn't completely stay on the 180 degree line |
