Magnetic Domain
A magnetic domain is region in which the magnetic fields of atoms are grouped together and aligned.

Permanent Magnets

a magnet that retains its magnetic properties in the absence of an inducing field or current.

Temporary Magnets

A magnet, such as that made of soft iron, which retains its magnetism for brief periods, as opposed to a permanent magnet, which can remain magnetized indefinitely. Temporary magnets are usually characterized by low reluctance and low retentivity.
