Torsades de Pointe w/pulse or cardiac arrhythmias :
 Adult: 1 to 2 g in 50 to 100 ml d5w,IV,IO over 5-60 min
 Pediatric: 25 to 50 mg/kg IV, IO over 10 to 20 min
Eclampsia and Seizure prophylaxis in pre-eclampsia:
 Adult: 4 to 6 g IV/IO over 20-30 min
Status Asthmaticus:
 Adult: 1.2 to 2 g slow IV/IO over 20 min
 Pediatric: 25 to 50 mg/kg diluted in d5w over 20 min
