After getting her first big roll in the movie E.T. the extra-terrestrial, Drew had a year full of work in front of her.

I would like to accept this star in honor of all our future,actors,actresses,news anchors,singers,athletes,artists,and everybody else with the ambition they need to succeed.

I mean come on she acted in a dog food commercial when she was barely a year old! Drew persevered and went on to star in many films.

Her roll as the cute little girl with the love for the soft sweet alien showed her perseverance to succeed at such a young age.

With that one characteristic she became a wonderful producer and actress that has touched many.

Lastly,the best characteristic to have is optimism,and that is exactly what Katie Couric had.Nothing could have stopped her even when her husband died from colon cancer.

Without learning from her self-belief to move on and be all that she is today, I would have not been able to be here accepting this star.

Katie took matters into her own hands and taught the Nation about the severity of colon cancer.

|
|
|
And believe me take the road less traveled by, it will make all the difference.
