The inverse of exponential functions.

A relationship which is expressed in exponents can also be written in terms of logarithms.

How do you write logarithms?

Logan=x is equivalent to a^x=n


Where a cannot = 1


E.g. 2^5=32 is equivalent to log232=5

How do you find the power of a logarithms on a calculator?

Find the log[]([]) button on the calculator. Input the base in the small box, and input the exponent in the brackets.

How can you tell if the logarithms power will be a fraction?

If the exponent is smaller than the base then the power will be a fraction.
