**The order or sequence of events in a story, movie or play.

exposition/Introduction
*the beginning of a story that provides background information.
*where characters and setting is revealed
Rising Action
*The section of the story where the conflict is introduced and things start to get increasingly tense. The characters problems become more complicated.
Falling Action
*Occurs after the climax when the characters have to decide how ot deal with the consequences of that conflict.
Resolution/Conclusion
*The explanation of how the conflicts are resolved or not.
