-trichophyton tonsurans ,most common bug, from human-human; get by sharing hats, brushes, combs;
-other bug: microsporum canis from dogs, cats; : thick white broken hairs, these only flruoresce under woods light
TX: oral griseofulvin x 6-8 wks
5 yo M w/ 6 wk h/o scaling, nongreasy papules, plaques in occiptial region of scalp and in inguinal region; have silvery scale appearance; what's dx adn tx? how dx?

-tx: Koebner phenomenent: new lesions develop at sites of skin injury;
- Autosomal dominant; common to have scalp involvement, not alopecia
10 yo F w/ malaise, HA, then 4 d later w/ body rash; exam: 3 cm red plaque on upper arm, oval red macules, papules on back that follow skin lines;

pityriasis rosea, reassurance only; hypersenstiivty rxn to viral infx;
