How are lines tested |
-Inspection -examine entire line 300mm increments ; untwist to spot internal damage -Carrier- inspect carrier bag for major cuts 25mm : check shoulder strap stitching is good -Stowage - Lines should be made up in a way which does not interfere the opening and closing of shutter doors *firefighter gloves should be worn during inspection *not carry out local repairs *if defect spotted report to officer in charge |
