What is a ‘right’? |
-An interest conferred by and protected by the law |

Define personal right: |
-legal entitlement that pertains specifically to interactions between individuals and parties -it is a right held by one person against another person -these rights aren’t necessarily attached to a specific property or physical asset -they are, instead, focused on behaviour of particular person or group |

Define natural persons |
-describes an individual human being as a distinct legal entity -living human who has legal rights, responsibilities and capacities -have the ability to inherit -are entitled to legal protections such as discrimination and harassment -has unique personal identity -has ability to make decisions, enter into agreements -have rights and responsibilities |

Define juristic persons |
-legal entities that are not human beings but are recognised by the law having legal rights and responsibilities -have perpetual succession -can own property -can enter into contracts -has rights like freedom of speech and privacy |
