Past Tense
The action was started in the past, but has yet to be completed. If it has been completed, it is in Perfect tense, not past.

English example: I drew.
Perfect Tense
Actions that have started and ended in the past.

English example: I drew.
Pluperfect Tense
Think "had + -ed ending type verbs"

English example: I had drawn.
Imperfect
Incomplete past action that is either ongoing or repetitive.

English example: I was drawing.
Present Tense
The action is going on now.

English example: I am drawing.
Future Tense
An action that will be completed. (Not to be confused with Future Perfect)

English example: I will draw.
Future Perfect Tense
An action that will be completed in the future after something is done. Think "will have".

English example: I will have drawn.
