Define Bearers |

Define FAS |
Fabric attached storage. A 2TB raid drive configuration for DIXS networks. Located in TELEX. A DRFAS is used to back up the FAS in case of failure. It takes a snapshot of the FAS every 20 minutes and stores it on the DRFAS. |

Define fibre backbone. |
A fibre cable between TELEX and CTO. |

Define the firewall |
Essentially a programmable filter. Enables maintainers to limit what comes in and goes out of the network. |
