Certification Facts |
- employees are contacted, this activity is not allowed to be conducted during regular work shift/hours - once bargaining unit has been determined, level of membership support is determined as indicated through signed authorization cards - only ballot of eligible bargaining unit members are counted - automatic certification can occur in some jurisdictions if the union can demostrate a high enough level of support or if there has been any unfair labour practices - represenation vote is supervised by the LRB
