8 Cards in this Set

  • Front
  • Back
Name and visualize the 3 parts of the Clavicle
1- Sternal end (is flatter. Articulates with the clavicular notch of the sternum)
2- Acromial End (is a little more rounded. Articulates with the Acromion Process of the scapula)
3- Conoid Tubercle (Closer to the Aromial end. Is down and back)
name and visualize the 15 parts of the scapula
1- Coracoid Process (muscles just attach here. Is the more anterior process)
2- Acromion process (articulates with acromial end of the the calvicle)
3- Superior Border of scapula
4- Superior Angle of scapula
5- Medial Border of scapula
6- Inferior Angle of scapula
7- Lateral Border
8- Suprascapular Notch
9- Spine of Scapula
10- Supraspinous Fossa
11- Infraspinous Fossa
12- Glenoid Fossa
13- Supraglenoid Tubercle
14- Infraglenoid Tubercle
15- Subscapular Fossa (is on the anterior side)
Name and visualize the 19 parts of the Humerus
1- Head
2- Anatomical Neck
3- Surgical Neck
4- Lesser Tubercle (is more on the medial side)
5- Greater Tubercle (is more on the lateral side)
6- Intertubercular Groove
7- Deltoid Tuberosity (is on the anterolateral part of the humerus. Is a few inches below the head. Is below the greater Tubercle)
8- Radial Groove (Runs inferolaterally to the deltoid tuberocity)
9- Shaft
10- Lateral Epicondyle
11- Medial Epicondyle
12- Lateral Supracondylar Ridge
13- Medial Supracondylar Ridge
14- Capitulum (is lateral)
15- Radial Fossa (is the fossa just lateral to the coronoid Fossa. I just superior to the Capitulum on the anterior side. You can't see the capitulum on the posterior side)
16- Trochlea (is more medially)
17- Coronoid Fossa (is the anterior fossa)
18- Olecranon Fossa (is the larger fossa on behind)
19- Ulnar Nerve Sulcus (is just medial to the Trochlea)
Name and Visualize the 8 parts of the Radius
1- Head
2- Fovea
3- Neck
4- Radial Tuberosity (is just inferior to the neck. Is on the medial side)
5- Interosseous Crest (is on the medial side inferior to the tuberosity)
6- Ulnar Notch (Is on the medial side of the distal end of the radius)
7- Styloid process (is the lateral process that sticks out on the distal end of the radius)
8- Lister's Tubercle (is the little tubercle on the posterior side of the distal end of the radius.)

The anterior side is more smooth and a little more concave. The posterior side is more bumpy because of lister's tubercle)
Name and visualize the 9 parts of the Ulna
1- Olecranon Process (is the most superior part that will articulate with the olecranon fossa)
2- Trochlear notch (is the big concave part)
3- Coronoid Process (is the process that sticks out anteriorly. It will articulate with the Coronoid Fossa)
4- Ulnar Tuberosity (just inferior to the coronoid process. is on the anterior side)
5- Radial Notch (is just lateral and a hair inferior to the coronoid process)
6- Supinator Crest (is the crest that is just inferior to the radial notch. So it's on the lateral side)
7- Interosseous Border (will be on the lateral side of the shaft)
8- Head (is the distal end)
9- Styloid Process ( is on posterior medial side of the head)
Name and visualize the 10 parts of the carpals
1- scaphoid (articulates with the radius. so it's on the lateral side, thumb side)
2- Lunate (going medially, you get the lunate. Is still articulates with the radius)
3- Triquetral (is just below the ulna. So it's medial. On the pinky side)
4- Pisiform (is the ball bone on the palmar surface. on pinky side. so it's more medial. It's on the palmar surface. not the dorsal surface. It's just palmar to the triquetral)
5- Trapezium (is on the thumb side. It articulates with the thumb. So is lateral)
6- Tubercle of Trapezium (is on the medial palmar surface of the trapezium.
7- Trapezoid (articulates with the pointer pointer finger)
8- Capitate (articulates with the middle finger)
9- Hamate ( articulates with the ring finger and the pinky)
10- Hook of Hamate (is on the medial palmar side of the hamate)
the 3 parts of each metacarpal
Base, Shaft, Head
We have a Proximal Middle and Distal parts of each Phalanx. (except for the 1st phalanx)

On each of the 3 parts (proximal, middle, distal), we have what structures?
Base, Shaft, Head
