The foundation is a separate legal entity that serves as the educational and charitable arm of our organization. What is Stand Up! Stand Out! And who started it?
Kappa Delta Sorority, in collaboration with Zeta Tau Alpha, created Stand Up! Stand Out!, a program designed to use the synergy of the Greek women to start a movement of college women across the country to stand up and stand out against negative peer pressure and difficult issues in today’s world – the pressure to fit in, to be thin, to abuse alcohol, to be popular, etc.

Kappa Delta developed the “Setting the PACE” philosophy and has interwoven it into all of its programs, policies and principles to help its members become the best they can be. The four areas are:
“P” Personal Presence
“A” Attitude
“C” Communication Skills
“E” Enlarging Our World.
By integrating the four areas of PACE into our daily lives, we can become the socially and culturally aware women of today who can achieve anything we set our minds to do. PACE has now been integrated into our new Chapter Choice meeting structure and chapters will be scheduling PACE events that correspond to one of the four areas of concentration.

Kappa Delta has chartered 492 alumnae associations nationwide. Alumnae associations are comprised of
Kappa Deltas in communities who gather together for fun, friendship and to serve their communities and
promote Kappa Delta’s name. They have community service projects, have Shamrock Events, and have
social and networking opportunities.
The title "The Farmville Four" refers to what?
There were four National Panhellenic Conference Sororities founded at State Female Normal School, more than at any other institution—Kappa Delta, Sigma Sigma Sigma, Zeta Tau Alpha and Alpha Sigma Alpha. Kappa Delta was the first.
