Kappa Delta adopted the Children’s Hospital in Richmond, VA as its first national philanthropy in 1921 as a way to give back to the community what the Kappa Deltas felt they had been given in friendship. Over the years, we have contributed more than $2.2 million dollars in support.

Kappa Delta developed the “Setting the PACE” philosophy and has interwoven it into all of its programs, policies and principles to help its members become the best they can be. The four areas are:

“E” Enlarging Our World.
By integrating the four areas of PACE into our daily lives, we can become the socially and culturally aware women of today who can achieve anything we set our minds to do. PACE has now been integrated into our new Chapter Choice meeting structure and chapters will be scheduling PACE events that correspond to one of the four areas of concentration.
