Future Tense
The present tense of werdern used with an infinitive is an indication of future tense:

werden appears in the second position...the infinitive in the final position

Present tense plus an adverb which indicated future time is also a common way to imply the future tense.
Future Perfect Tense
The future perfect auxiliary werden can also occur with a past participle plus the infinitive of a verb. The past infinitive consists of the past participle plus the infinitive of its appropriate auxiliary haben or sein.

This construction expresses actions that will have happened.
Commonly used expressions of the future perfect tense
auf die Dauer = in the long run
bis nächstes Jahr; bis sechs Uhr = by next year; by six o'clock
bis zum Ende des Monats = by the end of the month
in drei Wochen; in der Zukunft = in three weeks (time); in the future
gerade = just
immer wieder = time and again; over and over
mit (der) Zeit = with time
nach fünf Minuten = after five minutes
nach und nach = after a while
schon = not yet
um zwölf Uhr = at twelve o'clock
wen es so weit ist = when the time comes
Future Tenses Used to Express Probability
Used with an adverb like wohl, (wohl) schon, or doch, the future tense expresses the probability or likelihood in reference to the present.

The future perfect + wohl expresses probability in reference to the past.
Selbst, selber
Used to intensify or emphasize the meaning of a noun or pronoun.

When selbst or selber FOLLOWS a noun or pronoun, translate with himself, herself, itself, themselves, etc.:

Der Professor selbst wusste es nicht. = The professor himself did not know it.

When selbst PRECEDES the noun or pronoun, translate even + noun or pronoun:

Selbst die Ärzte standen vor einem Rätsel. = Even the doctors were mystified.
