Diversity: how people as individuals and members of groups are different to each other Consider: *types of difference eg. skin colour, dis/ability, visible or not? *changing societies: migration, globalisation, redevelopment, attitudes to these changes - may led to discrimination *access to help/support/opportunities for everyone in society (do all races or levels of affluence have access to the same opportunities |

Consider: *supporting human rights, campaigning for changes to policies eg. homosexuality *practitioners and their knowledge of legislation to point parents/service users towards help and support *empowerment of service users when knowing their rights |
