Court Appointed Special Advocate


(CASA)

CASA volunteer is a trained citizen who is appointed by dependency court judicial officer to represent the best interest of a child in court



Dependent

A juvenile who is in custody of the Court because he/she has been abused, neglected or molested or is physically dangerous to the public due to mental or physical disorder
