Why do you want to work in sales?

I love pressure. I want to work in a pressurized environment that is filled with difficult challenges.


And I will also get to interact with lots of different people on a daily basis and build long term relationships with them.


I love people and I enjoy interacting with them particularly listening and understanding their needs


It’s a must have in order to build retention.


What skills and qualities are needed to work in sales?

First and foremost you need confidence in yourself and the product.


People buy from people.


So really need to believe in yourself and really know as much as possible about the product you are selling



And lastly, be a good listener. Ask right question and truly here the answers.


Be positive, and have entrepreneurial skills. Things will change and have to adapt.




What makes you stand out

My knowledge of the product that I am selling. The more I know the product the better I can paint the client a beautiful picture of how it is going to benefit them.


So I will be spending a tremendous amount of time on the weekends the evenings.. Getting to know exactly what I am selling.


I also know the benefits of building long-term relationships... That's how you encourage customers to come back to the business over and over. That's my responsibility.


You want them to recommend our products to other business, owners.


Finally, you also have to know when to close. I close with confidence.




How do you handle rejection?

With positivity. And look for ways to learn from it.

When to walk away from a sell.

Instincts.. You have to know when they are trying to appease you and tell you what you want to hear. Time is precious and you have to follow your instincts.


And sometimes by simply having the mindset to walk away. Can create Fomo.

I believe the only mistakes you can make sells is

Not knowing your product there fore you can not answer all their questions.



Second not following up and doing your homework on that particular client.


And yes, I have been guilty of doing both.
