How do pigs and cows become infected?
By eating eggs from fecal sources. They embryos enter the animal's circulation by boring through the gut wall, and encyst the muscular tissue (this takes about 2-3 months)
Where does the cysticercus become a tapeworm?
inside the gut of a human after it attaches
