What drives ecosystem change?

Evolutionary processes - species extinction, evolution and migration.


Climate change - atmospheric gases, precipitation, temperature, wind speed, etc.


Plate tectonics - volcanic activity, landslides, sea levels, island formation, etc.


Human activity - hunting/gathering, deforestation, crop growing and land drainage.
