Observation
Something that your senses detect about your environment.
Purpose

A question the observation you made.
Hypothesis
A possible logical answer o your question stated in the if..then format. It must be testable.
Analysis & Conclusion
Figuring out what your data is telling you and if your hypothesis is correct.
Experiment
Your testing your hypothesis and collecting and recording data.
Repeat
Redo your tests to make sure your info is correct.
Theory

Variables
They're the conditions that change during the experiment, its anything that could change.
Independent Variable

Its the variable that you control and change.
Dependent Variable

The variable that changes based on the change you made to the independent variable.
Controlled Experiment
An experiment that only tests one independent variable. All other variables remain constant.
Control Group
The group that no change is introduced and everything is normal.
Experimental Group
