Its the process of doing science
Observation
Something you can notice or sense about your surroundings
Purpose
A question or something you want to figure out about an observation
Hypothesis
A possible scientific answer to a question
Experiment
Taking a variety of tests by collecting and recording data
Analysis and Conclusion
An evaluation and interpretation of data that determines whether the hypothesis was correct.
Repeat
If the data isn't working then you have to make a new test.
Theory
Used to explain many observations and facts.
Quantitive Observations
Its involved in taking measurments such as tempurature, mass, size, distance, and velocity
Qualitive Observations
Involving describing the properties of a materials that are used to identify such as color, smell, feel, and texture.
Direct Observations
They are things that you see.
Indirect Observations
They are things you detect with other senses.
Inferences
They are somethings you assume to be true based on observations and prior knowledge.
Variables
They are conditons that can change during an experiment.
Independant Variable
Is a variable that you can change control of.
Dependant Variable
Changes as a result of independant variable;you have no control over it.
Controlled Experiment
Is a test on independant variable at a time and reasarchers attempts to keep eachother constant
Experimental Group
Indeptar changedm, results are compared to control group
