They're "flowing" osteophytes.
May only be on one side of column

1. Flowing calcification/ossification on at least 4 contiguous vertebral bodies w/ or w/o osteophytes
2. Preserved disk height!
3. No bony alkylosis of facet joints, SI erosion, sclerosis, or bony fusion
