Certificate of eligibility for international student. Need it to apply for Visa and to pass customs in US. |

Where does a student get an I-20? |
Receives it from designated school official once the student is accepted to the school. |

How does student get a Visa? |
Take the I-20 and apply for a Visa at their US embassy or consulate outside of US. Must apply 120 days before the date on the I-20. |

Yes. Up to 30 days before the start date on the I-20. |
