Front 1

Wheezing, breathlessness, slight cough, gray or blue-green complexion, white, slippery tongue coating, string-taut and tight pulse.

1. Cold Wheezing

Front 2

Breathlessness, wheezing, yellowish phlegm, mental restlessness, red complexion, possible some sweating and headache, red tongue with yellow greasy coating, rapid and slippery pulse.

2. Heat Wheezing

Front 3

Cough and breathlessness, wheezing, sticky phlegm, thick greasy tongue coating, slippery and forceful pulse.

3. Phlegm Wheezing

Spontaneous sweating, aversion to cold, sneezing, shortness of breath, weak voice, coughing up clear and white sputum, or slight wheezing, bright-white complexion, thin-white tongue coating, fine and weak pulse.

4. Lung Deficiency

Slight wheezing, shortness of breath, poor appetite, fullness of the epigastrium, loose stool, pale tongue with thin greasy tongue coating, fine and weak pulse.

5. Spleen Deficiency

Breathlessness, slight wheezing frothy phlegm or small amount of sticky phlegm, sore and weak lower back, puffy tongue with white coating, fine and deep pulse, or red tongue with little coating, fine and rapid pulse.
