Spores are taken up by pulmonary macrophages, but capsules protect them. Macrophages carry them to lymph nodes. They start producing toxins. Toxins cause death of lymph tissue, which causes release of bacteria in to blood. Overwhelming septicaemia occurs, resulting in death.

Bacillus anthracis (inhalation)

Toxin types - edema toxin (causes fluid buildup) and lethal toxin (causes macrophages to release proinflammatory compounds)

Bacillus anthracis, inhalation form
