What is the eclipse period?
The time between initial infection and intracellular assembly of virions
what is the latent period?
The time between initial infection and the first release of new virions from the infected cell.
What is meant by burst size?
The number of virions released when a single infected host cell lyses.
What is multiplicity of infection?
The number of infectious virions per cell at the outset of the infection process.
