GTN indications

Chest pain in suspected ACS, hypertension associated with ACS, autonomic dysreflexia, LVF w/APO

GTN contraindications

Hypersensitivity, Levitra/ Viagra in 24hrs, Cialis is in last 4 days, HR <50 (AD exempt) or >150, BP <100, VT, RVI, BP <120 for IV

Dose of GTN

Every 5 minutes OR every 10 mins in AD

Ketamine indication

Uncontrolled musculoskeletal pain, severe burns

Methoxyflurane indications

Analgesic when narcotics cant be used or not appropriate

Methoxyflurane contraindications

Hypersensitivity, concurrent use of tetracycline antibiotics, 6ml/24hrs, 15ml/ 7 days, anaesthetic induces malignant hyperthermia.

-GIT haemorrhage, obstruction, perforation

Ondansetron indications

- ACS, cytotoxic drugs/radiation, gastroenteritis, dx migraine


P: motion sickness, aeromedical evacuation, eye injury, spinal injury

Ondansetron Contraindications

Hypersensitivity, < 2 y.o

Ondansetron dose

4mg R once at 10 mins

O2 Indications

Hypoxaemia, hypoxia


Organ perfusion in pts with poor perfusion

-paraquat poisoning


- lung disease secondary to bleomycin therapy

Prochlorperazine indications

Motion sickness, penetrating eye injury, aeromedical evacuation, vertigo:migraine, labyrinitis, meniers.

Prochlorperazine Contraindications

Circulatory collapse, CNS depression, hypersensitivity, child <2 y.o
