My name is Jordan Wager and I am 16. I currently live in Maesteg and to be honest it is very quiet, people make it out to be rough and nasty but it’s not. I live with my mother, step dad and two brothers.
How do your family and friends feelabout you joining the Army? (Do you have family support).
My family support me about going to armed forces
What do you do in your spare time? (Hobbies and Interests).
Inmy spare time I do free running and parkour, I like to go for a run everymorning at 6 because that’s my best opportunity I do run for a good distancebut I don’t time myself all the time. I like to compete in adrenaline sportssuch as rock climbing and climbing high places.
Why do you want to join the Army?
I want to join the Royal Marines because I have had my heart set on it at the age of 13, I know it’s not going to be easy but I am most definitely going to be pushing myself Beyond the limits,
What do you know about your chosen jobs and why have you chosen them?

I will be training in Commando training centre in Lympstone.

What do you expect basic training to belike?
I expect basic training to be tough but I would like to seebasic training as an opportunity to a better future, a more successful future.I expect basic training to be full of adrenaline sports and a lot ofeducational tasks.
What do you want to achieve in your Army career? (Your Goal)
Iexpect to achieve a successful future,but to be honest I never really thought about a future after the Royal Marines
What qualities do you have to offer the Army?(Strengths and Weaknesses)
Mystrengths to offer to the Royal Marines are that I am fit and getting strongerthanks to MPCT, I have I am someone who will not give up and has an open mind.
What have you done to prepare for Armyselection?

I train 5 times a week with MPCT

How long will you take to do the 1.5 milerun
It will take me 10 minutes and 30 seconds to run 1.5 milesbut I am definitely going to improve this and try to run faster and for longer.
