Longitude
A LINE THAT GOES FROM NORTH TO SOUTH IN DEGREES MEASURED FROM THE PRIME MERIDIAN.
(Longitude, sometimes denoted by the Greek letter λ, describes the location of a place on Earth east or west of a north-south line called the Prime Meridian. Longitude is given as an angular measurement ranging from 0° at the Prime Meridian to +180° eastward and −180° westward.)
Latitude
A LINE THAT GOES FROM EAST TO WEST IN DEGREES MEASURED FROM TH EQUATOR. TWO IMPORTANT LINES ARE THE TROPIC OF CANCER (NORTH) AND THE TROPIC OF CAPRICORN (SOUTH)
(Latitude, denoted by the Greek letter φ, gives the location of a place on Earth north or south of the Equator.)
A region's latitude has a great effect on its climate and weather.
Map of Earth showing lines of latitude. The lines of latitude are straight and horizontal on this map.Latitude is an angular measurement ranging from 0° at the Equator to 90° at the poles ( 90º N or 90º S).
Prime Meridian
IT IS A LINE THAT GOES EAST WEST AND IS 0 DEGREES.
(The Prime Meridian is the meridian (line of longitude) passing through the Royal Greenwich Observatory, Greenwich, England; it is the meridian at which longitude is 0 degrees. It is often referred to as the Greenwich Meridian.
The meridian was agreed upon in October 1884. At the behest of U.S. President Chester A. Arthur, 41 delegates from 25 nations met in Washington, D.C., USA for the International Meridian Conference.
The International Date Line is on the opposite side of the world from the Prime Meridian.)
Equator
IT IS A LINE THAT GOES EAST -WEST AND IS 0 DEGREES.
(The equator is an imaginary circle drawn around a planet at a distance halfway between the poles. The equator divides the planet into a Northern Hemisphere and the Southern Hemisphere. The latitude of the equator is, by definition, 0°. The length of Earth's equator is about 40,075.0 km, or 24,901.5 miles.

The equator is one of the five main circles of latitude based on the relationship of the Earth's rotation and plane of orbit around the sun. Additionally, the equator is the only line of latitude which is also a great circle)
Tropic of Cancer
A LINE THAT IS 23 1/2 DEGREES NORTH OF THE EQUATOR. IT IS THE BORDER OF THE TROPIC.
(The Tropic of Cancer (cancer (♋) is Latin for crab), one of the five major circles of latitude that mark maps of the Earth, is the parallel of latitude that runs 23° 26' 22" north of the Equator.
The line is called the Tropic of Cancer because when the sun appears directly overhead at this latitude during the summer solstice in June, it was in the Zodiac sign and constellation of Cancer. However, due to precession of the equinoxes, the June solstice is now in the constellation Taurus)
Tropic of capricorn
A LINE THAT IS 23 1/2 DEGREES SOUTH OF THE EQUATOR. IT IS THE BORDER OF THE TROPIC.
(The Tropic of Capricorn is one of the five major circles of latitude that mark maps of the Earth. This is the parallel of latitude that runs 23° 26' 22" south of the Equator, and is the farthest southern latitude at which the sun can appear directly overhead. It is the southern equivalent to the Tropic of Cancer. Below this line is the Southern Temperate Zone. North of this line are the Tropics.
This line is called the Tropic of Capricorn because about 2000 years ago, when it was named, the sun appeared directly overhead, at this latitude, during the winter solstice, it was entering the zodiac sign of Capricorn. Now, the sun appears in the constellation Sagittarius at its southernmost point. The change is due to precession of the equinoxes.)
Key
A BOX WITH SYMBOLS AND WITH THEIR MEANINGS THAT WE CAN FIND THINGS
key (map) consists of the section of a map or other document that explains the symbols used elsewhere on the document
Scale
IT IS A LINE THAT SHOWS HOW MUCH DISTANCE OF AN AREA
scale
(The proportional relationship between a linear measurement on a map and the distance it represents on the Earth's surface)
7 continents
Asia, Africa, North America, South America, Antarctica, Europe, and Australia.
4 oceans
the Pacific Ocean, the Atlantic Ocean, the Indian Ocean, the Southern Ocean, and the Arctic Ocean.

hemispheres
The term hemisphere literally means 'half ball' and is used in three different meanings:

one-half of the Earth (or other planetary or stellar body; see also New World and Old World)
Eastern Hemisphere and Western Hemisphere.
Northern Hemisphere and Southern Hemisphere.
A land hemisphere and a water hemisphere.
one-half of any spherical object, divided at a great circle.
