Rape
Sexual intercourse that takes place as a result of force or threats of force, rather than consent.
Forcible Rape
Sexual intercourse with a nonconsenting person effected by the use of force or the threat of force.
Statutory Rape
Sexual intercourse with a person who is below the age of consent. Sexual intercourse undersuch conditions is considered statutory rape even though the person attacked may cooperate.
Sexual Assault
Any sexual activity that involves the use of force or the threat of force.
Stranger Rape
Rape that is committed by an assailant previously unknown to the person who is assaulted.
Acquaintance Rape
Rape by an acquaintance of the person who is assaulted.
