There are a variety of careers in the world today that individuals have to chose from. However, the career that stood out most to me is a Pediatrician. Pediatrician stood out most to me because I love being around kids and I love helping children in every way that I possibly can.

Being a Pediatrician means you have many responsibilities on a daily basis. I understand that I will have to dedicate large amounts of time everyday to achieve my goal at making children feel better and grow healthy. I will do everything in my power just to help children and young adults grow up while having a healthy lifestyle.

Pediatrician requires eleven years of schooling, four years of undergrad, 4 years in Medical School, one year in a Pediatric Internship, and 2 years minimum Residency in a Hospital. Every year of schooling will be worth the time, effort, and money due to the fact of knowing I will be able to make children and young adults hearty.

There are many things that I could have included in my project. However, I believe that I have touched the basics which are the most important parts. By attending a University to become a pediatrician is the first step that needs to take place. I have also included the characteristics and working environment of being a pediatrician because anyone who thinks about being a pediatrician wants to know the environment they will be surrounded by on a day to day basis.

I have always had the desire to be in the childcare field. I know being a Pediatrician would be a good choice. One reason I know it would be a good choice for me to go into the nursing field is because I have experience working with children and I have the desire and motivation to help individuals. By having previous work in a daycare, I know that a child care field will be the best career choice for myself.

Throughout this project, I have learned that Pediatricians are doctors who specialize in the treatment of infants, children, and adolescents. A variety of pediatricians provide primary care to children in general pediatric group or solo practices, but others practice pediatric subspecialties.

Pediatricians have major shoes to fill on a day to day basis. The amount of schooling, time, and dedication that a pediatrician is required to complete pays off in the end. Only for me, the schooling, time, and dedication is not an obstacle to get over to reach my goals, it is an aspect that I work toward to reach my dream job and be a part of something much bigger, a Pediatrician.
