Democracy:

*3 kinds of power: legislative (make laws), executive (enforce laws), and judicial (review laws)



*lessons- decisions are harder in bigger groups, must be compromise, and sometimes the minority is right, but the majority rules.

Power: the ability to control or direct something or someone



Authority: power combined with the right to use that power
