Part of the fifteen pieces of legislation FDR sent in 1933 that built dams and produced electricity for everyone. It is has endured the longest. Many states have adopted a law similar to TVA.
AAA
Created by Congresss in May of 1933 telling farmers how much you grow and what prices the gov supports. Big business could no longer interfere in the market so no more monopolies.

Passed in 1935 creating the Labor Relations Board and the CIO. Had communists and radicals first hint of communism.

A group of WWI vets in 1932 that came to Washington wanting a reward for their service. Hoover's public image took sharpest blow

Passed in 1947 giving military aid in Greece and Turkey and says that the US and Britain stand for good and justice and USSR stands for evil. Led to the Cold War

America's foreign policy from 1949-1963 suggested by George F. Kennon. America permanently breaks away isolationism
Cuban Missile Crisis
happened in 1962 when Kennedy established a Navy blockade and when USSR crosses US fired and USSR retreated. High point in the Cold War and started a series of talks about nuclear warfare
Korean War
War between North and South Korea communist versus capitalists. Showed that the US financed dictatorship in order to win
National Security Act
Passed in 1950 and created the CIA and the National Security Council. In orde rto win
Marshall Plan
Approved by congress in 1948 giving Europe enough aid to return to its state before both world wars.
