He removed taxes for the Nobles, and he continued building power for the king. He also put middle classmen into government positions. He wants the same religion for all, and he was a French catholic. Idea was starting that religion did not really matter. has the 4 wars, trying to make France more powerful.

2nd question

There was conflict between the Stuarts and Parliament. These conflicts had to do with political, economy, and religion. All four Stuarts thought that they had been appointed king by divine right, and thought that they did not need Parliament. They did not recognize or respect Parliament. Charles IV needed money quickly to fund his army, and the Parliament agreed to raise taxes under the condition that Charles signed a Bill of Rights that gave Parliament more power. It also said that the king must respect Parliament and he cannot dismiss it.
