The Goddess of agriculture Demeter's daughter was kidnapped. The God gave her back to Demeter only 6 months a year. Whenever she did not have her daughter, Demeter was sad and did not let the flowers grow or the plants grow and this became winter.
How does ancient Greece democracy different from our current Democracy?
Ancient Greece - everyone got to vote, everyone had a say in the government and everyone got to discuss issues.

Current Democracy today - we elect representatives to vote and discuss issues for us. They represent our beliefs and values.
