The nomadic group of warriors that invaded and took over Egypt and encouraged the Hebrews to settle in Egypt. Ruled from 1640-1570 BC. The Hyksos and the Hebrews were racially similar, and thus, got along well. They succeeded in their attack because Egypt was weak and vulnerable because of a weak government and power struggles. The Egyptians resented the Hyksos
