Describe Pontiac’s rebellion (Who was involved, why was it started, how does it end?)

The English did not see the natives as allies (unlike the French). General Amherst put an end to certain practices, such as providing weapons and alcohol to natives who were allied with the French and the Natives were very angry and waged a war. Pontiac was the leader of the Natives. A series of defeats, and a smallpox epidemic weakened the coalition- in 1766, Pontiac agreed to sign a peace treaty
