One of the first civilizations. Settled in a great river valley between the Tigris and Euprhates Rivers.
Tigris-Euphrates
Two rivers located in a great river valley in modern-day Iraq/Iran. Mesopotamia settled in the area.

The belief of multiple gods.

A shrine/temple used in Mesopotamia.

One of the first written languages that used shapes and symbols.

The highest position that served the Pharaoh. The Pharaohs assistant.

A type of Egyptian tomb. Pharaohs began to bury themselves in Pyramids rather than Mastaba's in the Old Kingdom.
Step Pyramid
Earlier type of Pyramid, where there are blocks stacked on top of each other that get smaller on the way up.
Great Pyramid
The largest pyramid in Egypt. Was built for Khufu.
Great Sphinx
One of the largest/most detailed sculptures in ancient times.
Middle Kingdom
The 2nd age of 3 for Egypt. Pharaohs became less like gods and more like shepherds/real kings.
Hyksos
A kingdom that invaded Egypt. Once defeated, Egypt learned about Iron and chariots from them.
New Kingdom
The last golden-age of the Egyptians.
Hatshepsut
Famous female Pharaoh. Established large-scale trade networks throughout Egypt and nearby kingdoms.
Thutmose III
Hatshepsut's step-son. Greatly expanded Egypt through warfare.
Treaty of Kadesh
Known as the first official treaty in history between Egypt and the Hittites.
Cyrus the Great
Known as Persia's greatest emperor. Greatly expanded Persia's border through incredible warfare.
