Describe the religious conflict going on in Nigeria.
Nigeria is divided into a Muslim north operating under Sharia law and a Christian South. In the middle zone, both sides want power and there are volent attacks on each side. The Boko Haran group is very anti-Western, violent, and interprets Islam very harshly. Recently, Nigeria has also had conflict because a Muslim President died in Office and a Christian VP took over. The next President was a Christian, so Muslims are angry -- there is an unspoken law in Nigeria that there is a switch between Muslim and Christian Presidents.
Describe the religious conflict going on in the ivory coast.
Ivory Coast has a Muslim North and a Christian South. Previously, it was divided, but has now been reunited. As a result of the conflict, the Ivory Coast was ripped by war and is no longer the most prosperous part of Africa.
What do the IBO people of Nigeria do for a living?
They are smart, educated, but feel marginalized, and thus funnel into drug trade and internet scams. Remember the IBO were once influential while Nigeria was under British Rule, but has been excluded since independence.
