-Heat makes the bld move too fast, so it leaves its pathways-becomes reckless. Chinese herbs in a WM sense reduce fever, reduce capillary permeability and promotes coagulation. Slows down bld.

-Are often combined w/ herbs from the clear H, quell F category, which tx qi level H, because ying and bld level H usually come from the qi level.
