wounds of versailles

took a lot of Germanys iron and coal and gave it to theFrance… germany had to pay reparations for the war. England got about a dozenof Germanys colonies, and Germany had to disarm. Thisis significant because Germany built on their anger and this probably brought about enough nationalism to vote hitler into power.

hitlers vision of society

hitler wanted an all aryan society. he convinced germany that they were above everyone else, especially jewish people, and that everyone else except germans needed to be destroyed. this was significant because this whole german nationalism thing eventually led to the holocaust because germans wanted to trust him i guess idk im tired

antisemtitc propaganda in germany

propaganda in german depicted jewish people as greedy, hook-nosed money grubbers that were also after german women and to destroy their country. this made germans more supportive of hitler's idea to get rid of them.

liberation of death camps

this was significant because not only were the living prisoners freed(by other countries), but germans were given tours to see exactly what they voted for.

zionism and palestin

zionism is a movement that suggests that european jewish people should get their own country. they were given half of what was then known as palestine. palestines were pissed but european jewish people were happy, so that started this whole conflict that still hasn't been resolved.

unievrsel declasraion of human rights

this was written as a result of ww2, and it is significant because it sets out fudamental human rights for everyone, so taht something like the holocaust can never happen again
