Describe the difference between hydrodynamic and hydrostatic systems; give examples.
Hydrodynamic uses the flow energy of a fluid to accomplish work, i.e torque converter.

A hydrostatic system uses the pressure of a fluid to acccomplish work: i.e a lift cylinder.
Rules by which pressurized fluid is governed.
- Pressure is a result of resistance to flow
- Pressure of a confined liquid is always in proportion to applied force.
- When restriction is removed, pressure drops to 0.
