Warning Signs:
HEAT EXHUASTION
Paleness, muscle cramps, weaknesses, headache, fainting, heavy sweating, tiredness, dizziness, nausea, dry mouth, weak or rapid pulse
Heat Exhaustion
Mlder than heat stroke and usually occurs after several days of exposure to high temperatures or dehydration
Warning Signs:
HEAT STROKE
Hot/dry/red skin, no sweating, dialated pupils, loss of consciousness, nausea, very high temperature, rapid heart beat, confusion, throbbing headache, dizziness
Heat Stroke
Happens when the body is not able to control its temperature; can be fatal if not treated
Heat Rash
A skin irritation caused by too much sweating during hot, humid weather
Heat Cramps
Muscle pains or spasms which usually happen in the abdomen, arms or legs, and during heavy activity due to low sodium levels in the muscles
Sunburn
Occurs when the sun's harmful rays damage the surface of the skin
