Why is Ballistic Stretching Counterproductive?
|
It will wear on your muscles from all the bouncing you do when trying to stretch.

You should stretch any opportunity you workout, after a quick warmup. You should also stretch before you get to the pain to prevent pulling muscles. Stretch for 15-30 seconds then take a 60 min break and repeat 2-4 times.
