Disadvantages: You need a charger and unless you have a good battery you have to carry it everywhere you go so you really aren't wireless. Because it is a laptop you will be paying more for the same specs on a desktop. Can be harder to replace parts such as memory, hard drives, motherboards because it is not as easier to access because it is in a smaller space.
