Why would a classroom teacher want to use a "clicker"
To get accurate feedback directly from students. Results can be viewed immedicately or stored for later analysis.
Define Output Device. Give an example.
A peripheral device which is used to "output" information in an easily readable format. Stores information for later use. Ex: Computer screen (monitor)
What is an input device? Give an example.
Allows the input of data into a computer. Ex: a keyboard or mouse.
What is a Bit?
Smallest unit of binary character made up of 0 and 1.
What is a Byte?
A total of 8 bits makes 1 byte. These 8 bits together are represented by an alphabetic character.
How is the processor speed measured?
Processor speed is measured in megahertz (1 million cycles per sec.) gigahertz (1 billion clycles per sec.)

Control unit, Algorithmic logic unit, Memory unit.
