Pure colors

AKA- Primary Colors

Primary colors

Blue, red, and yellow.

Blue

Strongest primary color.

Red

Middle primary color.

Yellow

Weakest primary color.

Secondary colors

Achieved by mixing two primary colors.

Tertiary colors

Achieved by mixing a primary color with a neighboring secondary color.

Complementary colors

These colors neutralize unwanted tones, and cancel each other out.

Includes ammonia to make color possible. If color has no ammonia it doesn't necessarily mean less damage.

Aniline derrivatives

Small compounds, of us colored dye precursors found in permanent color. When these combine w/ hydrogen peroxide the molecules get larger.

Developer

AKA/ Catalyst- comes in gel, cream, or liquid from hydrogen peroxide (ph 2.5-4.5)

Concentration or strength of hydrogen peroxide.

10 volume

Enhances color.

20 volume

Covers gray, and colors hair.

30 volume

Provides extra lift for haircolor.

40 volume

Provides high lift colors the necessary consentration/strength.
