A tree that has leaves tha fall in autumn. Examples are oak, maple, birch, and poplar.

What is adaptation?

When a living thing has features so it can survive in its surroundings.

What ways do plants and animals adapt to their environment?

Animals adapt by their shape or size or how they move. Plants use roots to find water.
