Dyspnea

Difficulty breathing

Kyphosis

Curvatures of spine that look like a slouching or hunchback posture (occur in thoracic spine-May limit thoracic cafe excursion)

Protuberant

Bradypnea

Abnormally low respirations <12

Bradycardia

Slow heartbeat

Tachypnea

Abnormally high respirations >20 breaths/min

Subjective, feels not enough air

Wheeze

High pitched, whistling sound- in bronchovesicular caused by narrowed passageways in bronchial tree by secretions, inflammations, obstruction

Rhonchi

Deeper, low-pitches wheeze (occur in upper bronchi) like snoring

Stridor

Upper airway obstruction (in trachea) respiratory distress

Crackles

Loudest on inhalation, as inhale the alveoli that have collapsed expand and the crackle is the stretch of alveoli (sudden opening of collapsed airway)
